The Announcements Continue!

Continuing the theme of this wonderful Monday, the Blue Jays announced yet another move was made official, as Melky Cabrera has OFFICIALLY signed a 2 year $16 million deal with the Jays...Here's your proof.

In case you haven't read a trillion articles on the signing like I have, it's an awesome deal for the Jays. They will be paying about $2MM/WAR, which is crazy good, considering the league average is $4MM/WAR...So, ya. He is going to regress, but he will still be a definite upgrade over the replacement level(or even below) talent we've had playing left for so many years now. Nothing really else to say other than the 2013 Jays line-up looks something like this, and it's going to be an awesome year!
